A school will be rated Adequate if :
“There is evidence that the policies at this school recognise the risks to its students from psychological or physical harm”
What does this mean?
Evidence
First, OFFRED must be in possession of materials or testimony or other proof that the school has policies that recognise the risks inherent in gender ideology and in critical race theory.
Policies
School policies can be explicit (the school publishes what it is doing), so published policy documents can constitute evidence; or policies can be implicit (what constitutes the ‘ethos’ of the school), so letters received, or actions witnessed can be used as evidence.
Adequate
The baseline for an adequate rating is compliance with UK Government Guidance on Religious and Sex Education. Sex Matters and Transgender Trend have jointly published a guide to support schools seeking to be compliant with the law and official guidance.
