OFFRED rates schools and other educational organisations. There are four rating levels based on the perceived probability of a student falling victim to psychological or physical harm.

Good
Low probability of a student being harmed.
There is evidence that the policies at this school are likely to protect its students from psychological or physical harm.
Adequate
Medium probability of a student being harmed.
There is evidence that the policies at this school recognise the risks to its students from psychological or physical harm.
Dangerous
High probability of a student being harmed.
There is evidence that the policies at this school pose a high risk of psychological or physical harm to its students.
Harmful
Students have been harmed.
There is evidence that actions undertaken by this school have led directly to psychological or physical harm to one or more of its students.
